Shirt : TJ Maxx
Jeans : American Eagle
Belt: American Eagle
Boots : JCP Decree brand

Where I shop for cheap clothing!

Many other college students can agree with me that it's hard to find CUTE cheap clothes. And just so everyone understands that I am not trying to advertise any of these stores I am trying to tell you that you don't need to pay $30 for a shirt you can find the same one at another store for $5, $7, $10. For example I LOVE LOVE LOVE American Eagle Outfitters. But I hate paying $30 for a plaid shirt. I found an American Eagle Outfitters plaid shirt for $10 at this amazing fantastic store called.. Platos Closet. If there's one by you look it up. They take barely used name brand clothing from you, and then lets say like me traded a bunch of clothes in the other day for $50 (it was luck and nice clothes *note* not EVERYONE will get over $20 when they bring items in) So I looked around for some cute stuff. Not knowing I was getting $50 back.
So I found.... a pair of grey AEO jeans, a light pink Aerie hoodie, lace tee, AEO plaid shirt, AEO Striped sweater. All for around $56. The picture in the upper right hand corner is what I got from Platos : ). In reality lets do the math.
Aerie hoodie- $39.99
AEO jeans- $29.99
Lace tee - $29.99
AEO Plaid shirt - $29.99
AEO sweater - $29.99
so lets see... gently used clothing that looks like new and I only paid less than $60 or brand new clothing that I woulve paid around $180 for? I love this store! : D But I do have to admit some of the clothes are considered old school american eagle like the cuts on jeans, the sweater. But the older AEO is my fav lasts longer and made a lot better!

Alright everyone subscribe to my blog and stay tuned for more clothing styles from a broke college student! ; )

College Survival Style Guide

Keep Your Pretty Tall Boots Staying Tall during the Summer!

Hey everyone! Want a trick/tip on how to keep your pretty tall boots staying Pretty and Tall?? Then READ ON AND CARRY ON !

Anyone that has bought boots or Ugg boots or anything in the mail thats come in a box and has this paper wrapping knows that either
A. It's a waste of paper
B. Trash
C. Helpful way of keeping your boots tall!
D. All of the above!!! ;D
Well if you guessed D! You're right! : ) Basically I felt bad throwing all that paper away its pretty and has the UGG logo all over it : ) lmao. But what you can do to save your UGGS/tall boot is..

Take the sheets of paper you really don't need a whole lot of it just enough to put by the ankle. So you roll up the paper in a ball and just stick it right in the bottom/ankle area for the boots!
Here is the example! Next to know it works your boots should be standing tall and pretty!

Here are some more examples for boots

New Boots/Shoes? Nothing to wear with them??

New Boots or Shoes with nothing to wear with them!?
Don't you worry I had the same exact problem too!
I bought my Ugg Equestrian Riding boots and they were just beautiful boots but to be honest I had nothing to wear with them! Until now!
So basically I realized that before I bought these I had another pair of tall boots from JCP by Decree. And I had a braided belt from American Eagle Outfitters!

Like so.. But everything I wore with these $15 boots matched everything I was wearing and I tried putting an outfit together with out a matching accesory and it didnt work. Silly me. I figured out that I need to find a belt that really matched my other boots. It's hard to find a color that will match the light shade of the Ugg boots so I looked around and I found some belts from American Eagle Outfitters and I really liked this plain one. It was $24.99 compared to another one I was looking at which was $29.99.. But The middle matches a tad but the outside is dark like the back of the boot where the leather is! : ) But it goes to show that accessories really do make an outfit look good! But its just not with boots! These are my favorite coach shoes and I found that if you match the belt buckle with any accent metal it will go along even better than expected! : ) Also heres a look at my black tall 3 button bailey boots at the bottom. : )

UGG Australia boots

Hey everyone! Sooo I've been bad.. I bought a pair of amazing UGG Equestrian Riding boots and trust me they are not ugly at all they fit nicely comfortable and just love the color and distrested style of these boots! But I bought them at Nordstroms on sale for $200 instead of $300 they had a sale! : ) but thats not a sale.. buttt I bought a pair of nice boots earlier this year for $15 and they are just as nice! Got them at JCP and I believe its their brand.. DEGREE Cute stuff!! I'll be showing some outfits with both of them!
UGG Australia boots (see more leather boots)

Sooo I don't know if any of you have noticed butttt... LACE! is totally in this fall. I love love love lace! It's cute stylish you can pair it with just about anything! But I am not a fan of the price tag :,( There are some good deals out there though! This one here is at Aerie.com for $34.99 and I purchased a Lace Tee which was grey for $7.00 over at one of my favorite places to shop on a budget called Platos Closet!

You Guys like Bright neon colors or colored jeans?? I do! Well muted colors.. But your in luck this fall the colors are falling into place if I dont say so myself ; ) but Old Navy and Target Mossimo brand have your favorite colored jeans if your into that! on a budget.. I would say, TjMaxx, Gordmans, Platos Closet, Ross, Goodwill all of those stores would work! : ) Im not a huge fan of the yellow but these are on sale at old navy for $29.00 but like I said before I like to find cheaper clothes than 30$ for jeans. : )
